About Landrover Plus

Lindsay Hanson is the owner and founder of Landrover Plus. He is well known in Land Rover circles for his depth of knowledge and skills.

Lindsay developed a keen interest in vehicles and aircraft from a young age, having helped his RAF-serving father maintain a fleet of Rover and Land Rover vehicles. It was a foregone conclusion that he would go on to gain an apprenticeship at the prestigious Leeds Rover, Land Rover and Aston Martin dealership.

He quickly developed a strong technical knowledge of these brands, both through hands-on work and formal IMI level education at Kitson College. This was followed by a Mechanical Engineering degree at Leeds University, alongside numerous technical training courses at Solihull for Land Rover vehicles.

Lindsay then moved into a tenure at a Leeds Mercedes-Benz car and 4x4 dealership, where he developed a dual brand knowledge base. Eventually the restrictions of working within a manufacturer's dealership became frustrating, and he spent several years working for specialist vehicle workshops at both ends of the UK.

In 2011, Lindsay founded Landrover Plus. The business draws on his vast experience of over 40 years in the industry, with full control over quality and the ability to meet bespoke customer requirements.
