Routine Servicing, MOT & Repair

We carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance, as well as repairs and diagnostics on all marques, with particular expertise in Land Rover and Mercedes-Benz.

We can have your vehicle MOT tested. In the event of failure we can carry out repairs and arrange a re-test.

Land Rover Restoration

Having over 40 years experience with Land Rover models, you can trust Land Rover Plus with your cherished and (once) trusty old friend.

Restorations of older Land Rovers or those that have fallen into disrepair is our most regular work.

Rustproofing & Protection

In West Cornwall, we know a thing or two about rust.

Not just due to weather but also due to many regular customers being involved with the sea in some way.

From H.M. Coastguard and RNLI to industrial fishermen and farmers, we've seen a rusty chassis or two.

We offer various services from effective rust-proofing treatments to fully galvanised chassis replacements.

Engine Diagnostics

We can diagnose faults and make any necessary ECU adjustments for many makes and models using the latest diagnostic testing equipment.

Air Conditioning Service & Repair

We can test your vehicle's air conditioning system for leaks and recharge it as needed. In the event of a fault or failure we can carry out the necessary repairs.

Pre-Purchase Vehicle Inspection

This is not something we ever formally offered, but due to our experience and knowledge of Land Rovers, we are sometimes asked to conduct a detailed vehicle inspection prior to purchase by our customers.

We can travel to inspect a vehicle and if possible return it to our workshop for a thorough examination to provide you with an honest, independent and knowledgeable appraisal of its value for money.

Occasionally we know of good vehicles for sale via trusted contacts in Land Rover circles.

Bespoke Builds

We undertake completely custom builds and have built countless high-spec Land Rovers for many customers.

We can help advise on building a bespoke vehicle to suit your specific demands, from off-road adventure or safari use to heavy industrial work.

We have a reputation for attention to detail and quality workmanship in our builds. We use only high quality parts and 316 stainless fittings wherever possible.

Engine Conversions

We carry out bespoke engine conversions to match your vehicle to your needs, whether that's more power, better reliability, or lower running costs.

Common conversions include fitting BMW diesels and LS3 V8s, giving classic models a more efficient, modern unit.

Every conversion is tailored to your vehicle. We handle the full job, from sourcing the right engine to wiring, mounting, and testing.
